OVER NINE FEET OF SNOW!

(and it's only the 22nd...)

Snow 1/22/2011

Mother nature sure has made up for a slow start to the season here in southern Vermont! We heard many tales of huge dumps of blower pow out west, yet none of these weather systems seemed to make the cross-country journey to hit us here.

Just after Christmas, however, the weather seemed to take a 180 and head in the right

GC View

Despite the early season rain and warmer temps, the mountain is in excellent shape! I was out skiing the past two mornings, and the conditions are very good on everything that is open. Most everything is groomed to absolute perfection, except World Cup, which is starting to get bumped up and can be great fun in the afternoons. The Sunriser Supertrail opened Saturday Morining and is also in great shape. Middlebrook is in excellent shape, with great coverage from wall-to-wall and groomed quite nicely. It looks like Bear Down is on-deck and ready to open in the next few days. With all this
